Pollinators support the nutrition and income of vulnerable communities

This study links pollinator biodiversity and plant–pollinator interactions directly to the nutrition and livelihoods of smallholder farming communities in Nepal. It shows that insect pollinators make major contributions to household income and micronutrient intake, while pollinator declines increase the risks of poverty and nutritional deficiency.
