All organisms in an ecosystem are connected through food webs and play crucial roles in carbon cycling.

I study these connections using ecosystem models and food-web approaches to predict carbon dynamics and fate across different coastal habitats in the Baltic Sea.

I am currently pursuing my PhD at Tvärminne Zoological Station, University of Helsinki.
